Over the past five years we’ve been proactively switching all of our customers away from the use of standard analogue telephone lines in advance of analogue lines being switched off.
Openreach plan to migrate all of their services over to digital lines by the end of 2025 meaning that standard voice calls and some intruder alarm signalling paths will no longer work after this date.
Signalling via analogue lines is very dated so we offer alternative affordable, more secure solutions using dual path GPRS / GSM, and IP signalling through to our NACOSS Gold approved alarm receiving centre. Depending on the age of your intruder alarm system we can also offer app control and notifications from your app.
Services that may be affected going forward can include alarms communicating via digital communicators, speech diallers and any system using TAP text messaging notification to mobile phones.
