COVID Notice

BUSINESS AS USUAL? ………….. Far from it but we are now back to work and offering a full range of services such as installations, servicing and sales surveys

Some of our admin Staff are still working from home so there may not be anyone in the office at times. But rest assured that our phones are manned by the lovely Laura and we can still offer the full range of administration services

The safety of our Team and of our Customers is paramount, so we are adopting the following policy:

Employees will only attend client premises when they are not suffering any symptoms or anyone within their household.

Symptoms include:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • shortness of breath

Employees will call in advance of all visits to ensure their appointment is still required.

Employees will ensure that all person/s present at their client’s premises are well and not showing any symptoms of COVID-19.

Where clients or persons within the premises have symptoms or have been diagnosed positive to COVID-19 the site visits WILL NOT TAKE PLACE.

If the homeowner is self-isolating due to age or vulnerable nature the Engineer is to establish that the customer is aware that the engineer may be infectious and wishes the engineer to work in their premises regardless.

Should they suspect infection of the homeowners the employee is to politely refuse to attend the site and inform the office.

Any employees that fall within the governments vulnerable persons category WILL NOT COMPLETE SITE VISITS.

Whilst carrying out site visits good hygiene practices will take place.

This will include:

  • Regular hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds
  • Use of PPE where appropriate
  • Where possible hand sanitizer will be used
  • Avoid touching other people, including handshaking
  • Avoid touching your own face, in particular, nose, mouth and eyes

If an employee starts to feel unwell during their visit, they must leave immediately, informing their manager or supervisor of their change in condition.

If during a visit an employee notices that a person or persons on the premise are unwell or showing the symptoms they will leave site immediately.  They will report these changes to their manager or supervisor.

May we take the opportunity in thanking our Customers for bearing with us during this crisis, and we look forward to seeing you all as soon as we can
